Partner with managers at all levels through individual and group coaching engagements Improvement in individual and group coaching consumption by your managers
An aggregate improvement in Manager Effectiveness survey scores over time
Reduction in the number of employees who voluntarily resign from VMware primarily based on their manager’s capability as measured through an exit survey
Lower incidence of Employee Relations cases related to “poor” manager capability, including higher quality outcomes of performance improvement plans
Higher quality manager journey/experience including ease of accessibility, consistency, and integration with related processes, programs, and solutions
Stronger correlation of strong managers with employee performance, productivity, and goal achievement
Quickly build trust and be a trusted advisor to challenge leaders to accelerate their growth and development in support VMware’s goal of being a company that develops great leaders
Partner with people managers at all levels with their growth and development to help them become more effective leaders and managers
Partner with managers in the areas of company-wide and local people programs at the thought partnership level
Through coaching, be integral in performance management, goal setting, talent planning and help facilitate calibration sessions
Participate in project work partnership with various HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) in the design, development and implementation of people programs
Coach managers through people related issues as well as VMware processes
Guide managers with policy interpretation and application
Facilitate manager on-boarding for new and first time promoted managers
